Pacific Coliseum
Pacific Colosseum is a famous Vancouver Ice Hockey Centre which has undergone major renovations to host the Games short track speed skating and figure skating.
The field of play will have 30 changeovers during the Games to switch between the two disciplines.
A unique short track padding system developed specially for the Games will be in place.
Ice thickness also varies between the two disciplines. Figure skating requires a thicker and softer surface at approximately 18 degrees whereas short track requires a thinner and firmer ice at approximately 16 degrees.
