Cypress Mountain
Cypress Mountain will be the home to the freestyle skiing and snowboard disciplines at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.
The venue is approximately a 30 minute drive from downtown Vancouver and will have state of the art courses and halfpipes for all the athletes.
A number of Australia’s medal hopes will be competing at Cypress Mountain. Ones to watch out for are Torah Bright, Holly Crawford, Nate Johnstone and Damon Hayler in the snowboard events, Dale Begg-Smith in moguls and Lydia Lassila and Jacqui Cooper in the aerials.
