Selected member of the 2010 Australian Olympic Winter Team

Profile

  • Ramone started the 2009/10 season with a ninth placing in Suomu, Finland, the second top ten of his career. Athough he couldn’t match that in the following three events, finishing in the mid-20s.
  • Whilst training for the 2010 World Cup in Deer Valley, USA Ramone injured his knee however he passed a fitness test allowing him to make his Games debut.
  • The lingering effects of an earlier knee injury had restricted Ramone to just two World Cup events in the 2008/09 season, competing at Mont Gabriel and Cypress Mountain. But he ended the season in style in March at the World Championships in Inawashiro, Japan, placing 15th in the dual moguls and 20th single moguls.
  • The highlight of Ramone's 2007/08 season was the first top ten of his career, an eighth placing in Lake Placid after qualifying in seventh position.
